Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I have to be a member of LAGCC to have an event at the Club?
    • All non-member events must be sponsored by a member of LAGCC.

  • Do you allow outside Vendors?
    • We do not allow any outside catering—we pride ourselves on serving the finest food and beverages available. We do allow you to bring in a Wedding Cake, DJ, Band, Florist, Photographer or Videographer. We have compiled a Vendor List of the best local vendors if you need suggestions.

  • How long is the Club (or Room) available to me for my event?
    • Room rentals are typically based on a 4-hour time period.

  • Can we customize our menu or are we limited to certain selections?
    • Yes of course, with our world class Chef we are able to customize your menus to suit dietary needs, personal preferences and budget. Our Special Events Manager is available to assist you through the menu planning process.

  • What additional fees should I consider when booking a private event?
    • In addition to a food and beverage minimum there is a room rental fee, 22% service charge (on food and beverage only) and sales tax.

  • Can I have my wedding ceremony at the Club?
    • Yes, we frequently host wedding ceremonies on the Loyola Patio overlooking the Golf Course. However, if you are getting married in the off season, we do have available spaces indoors to host a ceremony.

  • Is there a Wedding Coordinator to personally handle our wedding reception?
    • No. Our Special Events Manager will guide you through the planning, menu selection, ceremony, and through the start of your reception. It is required that you hire an independent wedding coordinator for your event.

  • What types of event spaces are available at LAGCC?
    • We have many different event spaces to suit your event needs here at LAGCC. Below you will find layouts and room capacities for each space. Don't see what you need? Give us a call - we would love to discuss more and see how we can make your vision come to life!
